Cool Japan – Trend and Tradition
The exhibition will present a view of Japan from within adding fashion trends, manga and anime, the much-loved sport baseball, the gambling game pachinko, religious and seasonal festivities or the Japanese love of traveling. Finally the roots of today´s popular culture are traced back to the urban commoner culture of the Edo period (1600-1868).
