The German language school in Bremen!

The CASA Bremen language school is located right in the city centre, close to the main station and historic old town. We offer personalised support and high-quality German lessons in a friendly learning atmosphere. The CASA team are efficient, innovative and highly motivated. Our students learn German in next to no time and feel at home with us.

Our international language school CASA has been offering language courses in Bremen since 1983 and is the city’s largest private German language school with over 3,000 students a year. Being open and approachable is part of our school’s ethos. We strive to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that puts students at the centre of the learning process.

The focus of our course offering is on German as a foreign language. We offer intensive courses, evening courses, one-to-one lessons, company tuition and internationally recognised exams (CASA is an exam centre for both the TestDaF and telc exams). In July we offer our junior courses, which include a varied cultural programme. We organise various leisure activities throughout the year and run information events together with the University of Bremen. It’s important to us to make our students feel at home. As part of this, our quality managers continuously evaluate our internal processes and suggest where we can improve further. Visa applications, accommodation, season tickets for bus and rail, a language tandem or information on Bremen and the local area – we can help you with all this and more.

Learn German in Bremen!

Along with Hamburg, Bremen is the best-known city in northern Germany, enticing visitors with the historic old town and River Weser. Bremen is where homely north German charm meets high culture and an urban lifestyle. The city centre – a UNESCO World Heritage site – features the historic marketplace with the St. Petri Cathedral, Roland Statue and impressive town hall. The statue of the famous Town Musicians of Bremen is also just a stone’s throw away. A stroll along the Schlachte – the riverside promenade – takes you to the Schnoor district, where you will find a magical medieval town with narrow, winding streets, picturesque houses and shops. The promenade along the River Weser offers countless bars and restaurants. Another hotspot is the östliche Vorstadt district, known by locals as ‘das Viertel’. Right at the heart of Bremen is the beautiful Bürgerpark, an inviting spot to take a long walk or simply sit and relax. The people of Bremen are a cosmopolitan and fun-loving bunch, and they speak German almost without an accent. Although Bremen has some 600,000 inhabitants, the city maintains an intimate and friendly atmosphere where people can feel safe and quickly make new friends. The countryside is never far away. The city is also an ideal base for trips to the North Sea islands or to Hamburg, Lübeck and Lüneburg. The Netherlands or Denmark also make an easy weekend break.
