Learn German in Munich!

At TANDEM Munich, you will learn German in a city with some of the richest culture and traditions in Germany. With around 1.5 million inhabitants, Munich is the country’s third largest city and known around the world for its high standard of living and impressive architecture. Here you will find a flourishing high-tech industry and some of Germany’s largest, most renowned technology companies.

With over 94,000 students and its many theatres, cinemas, museums and galleries, Munich is a true cultural hotspot. Here you can visit the famous “Neue Pinakothek”, “Alte Pinakothek” and “Pinakothek der Moderne” museums or attend a concert by one of the city’s orchestras or opera houses. Munich is also a city of breweries and is home to the famous Oktoberfest, attended by almost 6.5 million people each year. Outside Munich, you can visit a breath-taking landscape of lakes and Alpine panoramas, along with the fairy-tale castle of Neuschwanstein. Munich is also a great base for weekend trips to nearby cultural centres in Germany and other European countries.
